Blue carpets are really trending in the design world today and there are endless shades of this color to choose from. Although all colors go in and out of style, blue has the most staying power and is often mentioned as a client favorite. The color blue ranges from cool and refreshing in its lighter tones to sophisticated and elegant in its deeper shades. No wonder blue is so popular!
With blue walls and pure accents of gold, white and crystal, the clear finishing touch for this diningroom was the gracious blue and tan tartan-inspired plaid area rug.

Darker blues add depth to a space and make a room feel elegant and sophisticated. The geometric pattern in the area rug mimics the wall design. The symmetry of the space is also reinforced using these elements. This room is a perfect way to decorate with navy blue and white.

Blue is also a color used frequently when decorating a coastal home or just to bring a nautical feel to a space. Our recently installed awning-stripe stair runner adds a breezy touch of Cape Cod charm to this lovely stairway!

Choose softer blues to enlarge a space and evoke feelings of peace and serenity. This dreamy blue living room is perfect for reading and relaxing. The hand-dragged strie patterned carpet adds subtle beauty and unabashed glamor to the space.
