The rear fabric obscures the view while the front fabric transforms the light into a soft glow. Sheer Shadings filter up to 88% of harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays depending on your choice of fabric.

Sheer Shadings are available in three unique styles – Silhouette®, Pirouette® and Luminette®. All blinds are available with both semi-opaque and room-darkening fabric opacities, multiple vane sizes and a wide variety of colors to perfectly complement your room’s design. Silhouette® Window Shadings have been the industry leader in light diffusion for 25 years. With no cords or tapes, the sheer facings allow you to view through the vanes to the outside. Silhouette® ClearView™ Window Shadings maximize your view with a sheer fabric on both the front and back. Silhouette® Duolite® Window Shadings offers the light-diffusing benefits of a translucent Silhouette® shading with an integrated room-darkening roller shade.

Pirouette® Window Shadings feature softly contoured fabric vanes that softly open and close, giving you complete control over your desired degree of light filtration and privacy. The Hunter Douglas revolutionary Invisi-Lift™system allows the vanes to float gracefully on a single sheer backing.

Vanes can be closed for complete privacy or fully or partially opened to any position to invite incoming light and provide a view to the outside.

Luminette® Privacy Sheers combine a sheer fabric facing with soft, vertical rotating vanes affixed to the back of the sheer.
